Responsibilities

    As a Wealth Advisor, you will be expected to provide comprehensive, one-stop financial advisory services to KGI clients through our wealth management products that will include Insurance, Unit Trust, Exchanged Traded Fund (ETF), Fixed Income and Structured products. As part of portfolio construct and re-balancing, you are to actively cross-sell our Brokerage, Futures & Forex products into wealth products and vice versa. The successful candidate will be expected to play a critical role in expanding the company's onshore base through the acquisition of new and the development of existing clients. To strengthen the wealth planning process, you will be engaging high net-worth and affluent clients for relationship management, financial health check and fact-finding.

    You are to achieve agreed financial targets. To help you succeed in your role and sharpen your financial planning and advisory skills, you will be guided and trained for 4 weeks by product specialists and product partners. You will need to be comfortable hitting the ground running and leveraging your existing network to add value to the business.

Requirements

    • Local Diploma/ Degree holders are welcome

    • More than 1-2 years of wealth experience

Responsibilities

    • Manage servers environment (Wintel and Linux), corporate network (LAN, WAN, MAN, VoIP) and office structure cabling
    • Perform feasibility studies and consolidate streamlines with team to determine future planning, latest technology trend, implementation and cost optimization
    • Manage and prepare IT requirements, proposals and procurements process for IT infrastructure
    • Define improvements and increased system reliability, security and performance
    • Manage services and vendor outsourcing in the aspects of IT infrastructure
    • Provide 24x7 IT infrastructure support
    • Ensure IT infrastructure setup adhere to regulatory and audit guidelines
    • Acts as the IT infrastructure liaison in providing critical operational insight to upcoming business requirements, implementations and strategies, including validation of ongoing solutions supportability
    • Manage and oversee annual internal / external audit exercises and follow-up on rectification

Requirements

    • University graduate in Information Technology or equivalent
    • At least 3 years relevant and strong technical experience in IT infrastructure technology areas
    • Extensive experience MS Windows Server, Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, Cisco network, VMware etc.
    • Strong analytical ability and problem solving skills, good interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal across different levels of management and users

Responsibilities

    • To oversee the market and credit risk across all of the company’s business lines, including equities, futures and fixed income markets
    • To develop and maintain programs and database for the automation of Risk BAU operations
    • To support the continuous development of our Risk Management System (such as Janus) as well as the various risk modules within the trading front-ends
    • To develop solutions to enable effective and timely risk management

Requirements

    • Degree holder with major in Computer Science or Information System
    • Minimum 2 years’ relevant experience in database design/programming, knowledge of utilizing BI tools (e.g. QlikView etc.)
    • Prior experience in financial industry is advantageous
    • Meticulous, positive attitude, team player yet able to work independently 
    • Ability to work well within tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
    • Strong in Excel preferably with VB & SQL knowledge

Responsibilities

    • Monitoring of the Company’s overall exposure in equities and futures
    • Management of client’s positions, including putting up of stop loss orders, force liquidation 
    • Performing stress loss and reporting of threshold breaches
    • Tracking of intraday margin positions and ensuring policy and regulatory compliance
    • Project work which would also include quant modelling for various product classes to assess risks

Requirements

    • Degree holder in related discipline
    • 1-2 years exposure to Forex markets, either in Risk or as a Trader

Responsibilities

    • Provides 1st line support by responding to clients' calls and emails inquiries including questions about trading platforms' functionalities, platforms setup, connectivity and troubleshooting
    • Ensure users' queries and problems are followed up and resolved promptly/effectively through a systematic tracking/follow up process
    • Conducts trading platforms update and liaise with vendors on technical and infrastructure issues
    • Ensure IT deliverables have proper quality control through unit/integration test, UAT and proper handing over to production
    • Ensure end user satisfaction of IT deliverables through formal UAT and sign-off
    • Performs analysis and compare with competitor's platforms. Suggest improvements and enhancements
    • Working closely with eFX and Sales Department to collate and communicate their requirements into visible project plans
    • Running the project on a day-to-day basis within specified quality, time and cost constraints

Requirements

    • University graduates preferably with Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma (min) in IT, Business Administration, Finance or related fields
    • Minimum 1 year relevant experience
    • CMFAS M1A, M2A, M5, M6 and M6A or equivalent license an advantage

Responsibilities

    • Assist in developing trade surveillance policies and procedures for monitoring trading activities for any trading misconduct and money laundering suspicious transactions
    • Conduct daily review of trade surveillance exception reports, follow-up on exceptions noted and determine and recommend remedial or preventive actions  
    • Review trade error reports and follow up on any irregularities noted
    • Escalate any breaches of regulatory requirements or misconduct or company policies
    • Conduct periodic review of company trade surveillance policies and procedures with the view to implement enhancements, if any to existing practices
    • Conduct investigation into any complaints or feedback received on any potential trading irregularities
    • Liaise with relevant regulators, Head Office on any major findings
    • Conduct awareness training to trading representatives and relevant department employees on trading practices that are prohibited under applicable laws, regulations and exchange rules

Requirements

    • Degree holder with 3-5 years relevant experience
    • Familiarity with the relevant laws, regulations and exchange rules in the securities and futures market is an added advantage.

    • Strong communication, interpersonal, analytical and organizational skills
    • Team player yet able to work independently and interact with people at all levels
    • Relevant experience in exchanges (e.g. in market surveillance or supervision departments) public accounting firms, securities and futures brokerage firms and other financial institutions are encouraged to apply

Responsibilities

    • Support Head of HR in implementing and monitoring of all HR policies to ensure relevance and compliance
    • Responsible for recruitment and selection for junior to middle level positions, and subsequent activities relating to on-boarding and off-boarding, including application/renewal/cancellation of work passes and/or other passes, as well as HR system and personal file management
    • Performing full spectrum of payroll and related activities

Requirements

    • Degree holder in Human Resources or related disciplines
    • Work experience in financial industry is preferred
    • With 2 to 5 years of relevant work experience, experience in compensation and benefits is highly preferable
    • In-house payroll processing experience (full cycle including the tax returns)
